The "Yicha" Jacking and Tunnelling Machine Rollout Ceremony Held Grandly

On November 30th, Tangxing Technology's Trenchless Industrial Park celebrated another milestone moment with the official rollout of the 2600mm small-diameter jacking and tunnelling machine, "Yicha." This advanced equipment will be deployed for the first section of the natural gas pipeline construction project connecting Nan'an New District in Yining City to Qapqal County, crossing the Yili River. The construction section spans a total length of 1,715 meters.

The project involves strata primarily composed of water-rich sand and gravel, with complex geological conditions. Additional challenges such as small pipe diameter, long distance, deep burial depth, and high water pressure further raise the construction's complexity. After multiple rounds of expert deliberation, the project adopted a "jacking + tunneling" construction plan, which combines the strengths of traditional pipe jacking and shield tunneling, ensuring both safety and cost-effectiveness.
