Difficulties: The C8G-C9G piles in the third bid section of the Huizhou LNG receiving station external pipeline project cross the Guangzhou-Huizhou Expressway. The total length of long-distance slurry balance pipe jacking construction is 504 meters. The reinforced concrete casing adopts DRCPⅢ1500×2000, which crosses the weathered granite. The layer length is 260m, and the length of the strongly weathered granite layer is 244m. It is also mixed with sandy conglomerate geology, with soft and hard alternations. During the jacking process, the friction resistance between the outer surface of the casing and the rock formation is large and the jacking force is high. The pipe jacking construction is extremely difficult.

Significance: After the Huizhou LNG receiving station project is completed and put into operation, it will provide safe and reliable clean energy support for Huizhou to build a world-class green petrochemical industry highland, help promote the optimization of energy structure and ecological environment construction in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It plays an important role in improving the natural gas supply and reserve capacity of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and actively assists Guangdong in accelerating the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system.
