The "Qinshan No. 1" TBM Independently Developed by Tangxing Technology Rolled off the Production Line Smoothly

On July 27th, the "Qinshan No. 1" TBM used in the Qinshan Nuclear Power Auxiliary Steam Networking Project rolled off the production line in Tangxing Technology Trenchless Industrial Park, and will soon be put into interval tunnel construction.

The project tunnel is passing through tuff formations mainly composed of III, IV, and V surrounding rocks. If the traditional artificial drilling and blasting operation method is used, the process quality is not easy to control, and the safety risk is extremely high. In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of tunnel construction, the R&D team of Tangxing Technology adheres to the design and manufacture concept of safety, environmental protection and efficiency, integrates advanced technology into the equipment, and successfully completes the design and manufacture of the TBM.

The TBM has an excavation diameter of 4 meters, a total equipment weight of 220 tons, and a total length of 72 meters. TBM heavy-duty cutter head, multi-section shield body, three-dimensional slag discharge system and variable support system are specially configured to meet the requirements of long-distance hard rock efficient tunneling.
