China’s First 4m HRC with CC

On the morning of July 23^rd, the 4-meter rock pipe jacking machine "Peizhi One" used in the Tangxun Lake sewage treatment pipeline project in Wuhan was manufactured in Tangxing Equipment Industrial Park. "Peizhi One" is the first 4-meter rock pipe jacking machine of Shanghai Juding Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and the Second Harbor Engineering Company, and the first 4-meter rock pipe jacking machine with cutter head change under normal pressure system in China. The operation of this equipment is a milestone for The Second Harbor Engineering Company, Shanghai Juding Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and Tangxing Equipment.

The total weight of the "Peizhi One" pipe jacking machine is 150t, the excavation diameter is 4920mm, and the one-time excavation distance of 1,500 meters is about to refresh the domestic record of large pipe diameter excavation. Due to the tight schedule and heavy tasks of the project, several expert demonstrations were held during the period. The pipe jacking machine took only 2 months from design to operation, which once again refreshed Tangxing Equipment’s record of creating new high-end pipe jacking engineering equipment. "Peizhi One" integrates the functions of excavation, slag discharge, orientation, and pressure operation. Its air pressure operation guarantee system is equipped with pressure adjustment, pressure detection, communication, filtering and other functions, which can maximize personnel construction safety. It can be used for the construction of urban pipe networks, water conservancy tunnels and under passing rivers, highways, railways and other complex working conditions.

 “Peizhi One” will be used in the drainage project of Wuhan Tangxun Lake Sewage Treatment Plant, mainly to reduce pollution to the lake. Once the project is complete, the polluted water will be discharged from the sewage treatment plant to Donggang, and then transferred to the Xunsi River before entering the river. The entire project eliminates the threat of surrounding pollution and speeds up the comprehensive treatment project of the Tangxun Lake water environment. Tangxing Equipment will also uphold the concept of win-win cooperation, provide high-quality services throughout the life cycle for the pipe jacking machine, contribute to the early completion of the project, and the comprehensive treatment of the water environment in Wuhan.
